From us
Welcome and welcome back!
Every time you visit here, we - me, my husband and our daughters are happy. So we have this and that in common. It is no accident that we named this section "From Us" - we want to share our discoveries with you and help create a beautiful childhood for our children together! Welcome to our world of discovery.
What we share
We've all had it. Something different - maybe some of us were rubbing the city streets, others - we were bending the meadows of small towns. An elevator took some to the house door; for some, it was enough to climb a few steps. We may have had a breathtaking view from the windows in our room. Perhaps we wanted light so much that we lived with the curtains drawn without fear. No matter how different we are, we are all similar in that we have our world in our childhood room. Sometimes reminiscent of a colorful adventure, a haven when knowing life became too harsh.
Even today, just entering my childhood room always gives me THAT feeling. We're sure you've experienced it just like us. Usually, only good memories are reborn. All those times when we were doing homework at the table, on the bed, or the windowsill, when we got lost in the wardrobe playing hide-and-seek or had a hard time closing its door because of those crooked shelves. Only we know what secrets and twists of life our childhood room keeps. Now, our children are going through this stage.
What we wish for our children
You wish your loved ones the very best. At the same time, we know that room furniture takes on magical forms in the children's world. Here, the table for our daughter becomes a dance floor, and the bed can withstand a gathering of six friends. If the mood rises, look, the bed turns into a trampoline, which is fun to jump on alone, with a sister, friend, or even dad.
We also know that the little ones do not limit their talents - works of art are born directly on the doors of the cupboards or the desk. We watched how little fingers traveled along the contours of the drawing in the book, whispered something quietly with their lips, went to the wardrobe, and transferred the picture from the book to the door of the wardrobe. A magical and incantatory ritual took place - we are its witnesses.
Art is art, but you also need to believe in secrets. The lion sleeping on the shelf next to our toddler's bed has long since become one of her best friends, to whom she not only confides but also wishes sweet dreams.
Whatever it is - whether they become the next Vincent Van Gogh or go to Africa to take care of the welfare of lions, by collecting furniture for a children's room, we create a space in which they are formed. It's our job to make it possible for them to grow where they feel the safest.
Why this furniture?
Seven years ago, we moved from Lithuania to the Netherlands. We prepared for this change very responsibly. We carefully chose the children's room furniture, the supply of which was huge, while we were still living in Lithuania.
First, we looked for a sustainable long-term solution. The most important priorities were safety, high quality, cozy, playful design, and friendly price.
When the furniture chosen in Lithuania arrived at the new home in The Hague, we were all amazed at how beautiful, playful, high-quality, and functional they were. After installing them and furnishing the child's room, I realized we had chosen the best!
And it's been seven years since our girl, surrounded by this furniture, has been creating her world. We already know that her younger sister will inherit them, and her most significant childhood dream - to sleep in her sister's bed - will come true. And even more - it will be her space, with new heroes and the mood they create. And I with the older one take a leisurely look at the teenagers' collection.
Let's create together!
We have indeed managed to find the best. We want to share our discoveries, which will inspire others looking for children's furniture who want to create stories for their homes and children. Let's give good emotions to our children by making their private space.
Are you with us?!
